L'entrée d'une grande et belle maison doit être grande et belle! J'ai donc décidé de modifier l'entrée car elle était précédemment étroite et avait un angle par rapport au chemin d'où on arrive. Pas vraiment dans les règles du feng shui tout ça! donc pour l'instant Raphaêl m'a aidé à dégager la terre pour couler une chappe, et nous avons enlevé un poteau . Plutôt facile jusque là!
The entrance of a big and beautiful house should be big and beautiful! So I decided to modify the entrance because it was to an angle from the path leading to the door and it was far too narrow. Raphaêl helped me dig some earth out in order to cast a footing . And we got rid of one of the wood posts. pretty easy so far.

Le poteau est parti et les plaques d'OSB aussi. Désolé je n'ai pas eu le temps de prendre des photos intermediaires. C'était trop rapide! Remarquez le ciel absolument pur de cette magnifique journée de fin Février!
The post is gone and the OSB pannels too. Sorry I didn't have time to take intermediary pictures. It was too quick! too easy. Admire the absolutely crisp blue sky in the foreground. A pleasure for this end of febuary!

Pendant ce temps Aurore, une amie venue de Paris pour passer quelques jours dans le sud de la France, s'applique à nourrir d'huile de lin pigmentée les poteaux. Le pigment terre de sienne sert en fait à protéger le bois des UV.
Meanwhile Aurore, A friend from Paris that came to spend a few days in south of France, is feeding the wood with pigmented linseed oil. The dark brown pigment called "terre de sienne" helps protect the wood from UV's.
Bientôt je vais commencer à mettre les nouveau poteaux aux dimensions de la nouvelle entrée.
Soon I'll start to put to the dimensions the wood posts for the new entrance.
